Installation Tips
Replacing the flap is straightforward and only requires basic tools.
- Remove the pet door from the door or panel.
- Unscrew the frame and remove the damaged flap.
- If your existing bottom magnet is in good condition, transfer it to the new flap.
- Fit the replacement flap into the U-shaped top hinge section.
- Clip the hinge into the door frame and reassemble the pet door.
- Reinstall the pet door and check the flap swings freely.
Once you've replaced the flap once, future replacements usually take only a few minutes.
Important Information
This replacement flap does not include the bottom magnet strip. If your existing magnet is damaged or missing, you will need to purchase a replacement magnet separately.
